Walkers' Nonsuch Toffee
One of our customers’ favourite lines is Walkers Nonsuch Toffees. Established during the 19th Century in Longton, Stoke on trent by Edward Joseph Walker the company is still a family concern.
Edward created a unique recipe using only the finest ingredients to produce delicious toffee. This recipe is still used today with production being managed by who is the grandson of Edward.
Walkers’ Nonsuch takes its name from King Henry VIII’s Nonsuch Palace so called because of its exquisite splendour there was “nonsuch” like it. Just like Walkers’ toffee!
Walkers’ still insists on using only the finest ingredients which is why it is a firm favourite both at the shop in Boroughbridge and through the website. Currently we stock Old English Assorted toffee, English Creamy toffee, Liquorice toffee, Milk Chocolate coated toffee, Plain Chocolate coated toffee, Treacle Dabs, Banana Split Eclairs
